Spring has finally arrived in Boston. I am almost ready to put away my boots and coats, and I even broke out a dress last week. Even though it’s not quite warm enough for summery clothes, I’m ready to update my spring makeup. If you’re ready to try some new products for spring, I’ve pulled some of the ones I’m really excited about trying.

I know it might feel cliche, but I really do love a lot of pinks for spring. My favorite pinks tend to fall in the coral and rose families. They are the most flattering tones for my skin. I also love the bubble gum pinks and the brighter neon pinks, but they don’t look as great on me, although I still try to wear them from time to time. In case you’re interested, a few years ago, I tried to find the perfect lipstick shade. This is what you told me you liked best for me.

In terms of eyes, I do tend to stick with pretty neutral colors, a lot of browns and pinks that blend with my skin tone. As for blush colors, I do like to go a little brighter. Most blushes you can add layers of color to make them more vibrant or less vibrant to suit your preferred look.
