This is Why You Need Pink Sneakers

What’s your go-to weekend outfit or, if you’re a mama, what’s your ‘momiform’? Mine varies depending on the season, but most of the year, it’s jeans, and a t-shirt with a layer on top. I personally love wearing blazers and jackets because I think they really tie a look together, yet are super comfortable. Lately, I’ve also started a bit of a sneaker collection. When I saw these Hotter sneakers in the majorly-on-trend rose pink color, I just had to have them. Pink sneakers are such a must this spring.

I don’t know why it’s taken me so long to incorporate sneakers into my wardrobe. Most of the time, I opt for booties, but lately, I’ve realized there are just so many cute sneakers on the market. Now that my kids are a lot more active, wearing sneakers is just so much more practical. Just this week, my kids got their first ‘big kid’ bikes, so I’ve been running after them helping them learn how to ride. Booties just wouldn’t do, but my sneakers sure come in handy.

If you haven’t heard of Hotter shoes, you should check them out. They are UK’s biggest shoe maker and have been in business since 1959. They are also made in a UK factory and each pair of shoes is backed with a 100% Happy Guarantee. You can find your perfect fit with their fitting guide and they offer a wide selection for both men and women. They also sell some great accessories, like my cute little envelop purse, also in rose pink.

Sneakers have become so cool, which really surprised me. I mean, I definitely rocked a lot of sneakers when I was a kid. I had a huge collection of shell-toes when I was a teen, but after high school, the only sneakers I wore were for working out. There are so many great option for fashion sneakers, like my rose pink sneakers, that it almost seems silly not to wear sneakers. Like a lot of women in their 20s and 30s, I’m constantly running around on the weekends. Although my booties are mostly super comfortable, there’s nothing quite like fashion sneakers.

I’m just so happy that I tried out these Hotter pink sneakers. To be honest, I was a little leery of trying fashion sneakers, because I thought they felt a little less chic than booties. However, I totally take back that assumption. I think sneakers can absolutely be super chic, especially if you pair them with fitted casual wear. For me, it’s important to feel and look put-together, even on the weekends. If I wear a big sweatshirt or too casual of clothes, I know I won’t feel my best and then the sneakers won’t feel chic to me anymore. I personally love wearing my pink sneakers with skinny jeans and a fitted jacket, but you can definitely throw on a sweater, or even wear them with shorts or a dress. They definitely do go with a lot of things and the rose pink color almost acts like a neutral.
