Here are The Best Spin Bikes for Home

This post about the best Spin bikes for home is sponsored by Spinning®. All opinions are my own.

When quarantine hit, the thing that shocked me the most was how much I missed going to the gym. I’ve always been a gym-goer, but only begrudgingly. Sure, there were periods in my life, before kids, where I devoted a significant amount of time to the gym and I got in killer shape too. But since having kids, I’ve found it increasingly challenging to fit in more than 3-4 times a week for an hour-max – and that would be a good week.

But once quarantine hit and my gym was closed (and is still closed), I realized I needed to figure something else out, and quickly. I’ve thought about buying a piece of fitness equipment for my home for a long time. I was certain if I had a treadmill or a bike, I’d use it everyday. When my friends at Spinning® offered to send me the Spinning® P5 Connected Spinner® Bike with Tablet Mount, I was beyond thrilled. They offer the best Spin bikes for home on the market. They offer the perfect combination of great prices and the highest-quality bikes. The thought of being able to have a dedicated piece of equipment just for me, in my own home, was (and still is) very exciting.

I’ve learned over the years that fitness is really the best possible ‘me time’ you can have. It may not always feel like it. I know for a lot of us, working out feels like a chore rather than a reward. But honestly, the more you can start to see it as your special personal time, the better. I see it as a time to devote to taking care of and honoring my body and health.

When my bike arrived, I was a bit overwhelmed with the process of setting it up. Thankfully, a friend offered to help me set it up. There are tons of resources to walk you through the setup process. The Spinning® P5 Connected Spinner® Bike with Tablet Mount I received retails for $1449. It also includes free access to Spinning® Digital for three months, a cadence sensor, and a tablet mount. Plus, you can get free domestic ground shipping on all home bikes within the 48 contiguous states. My specific bike is currently sold out until January 15, but the P3 Connected Spinner® Bike with Tablet Mount, which retails at $1349 is currently available. The key difference between the two is P3 has a chain drive instead of a belt drive.

I have my bike set up in my living room so that it’s always available to me. I like the fact that I see it every day. It is a reminder for me to make sure to fit in my me-time exercise. There’s really no excuse not to take care of yourself when you have a bike right in your home. It’s been really great too because the bike doesn’t take up very much space. It has a very solid, sturdy design.

If you haven’t already heard of Spinning® they are based in Venice, CA. They helped define the indoor cycling category almost 30 years ago.  Plus, they first created bikes for commercial use – in studios and gyms around the world – while also training over 250,000 instructors. They offer home bikes ranging from $449 to $1,449 and they come with everything you need to connect your ride (heart rate monitor, cadence sensor, tablet holder and free access to Spinning® Digital, their on-demand classes).

I was lucky to be upgraded to their new app, Spinning® Digital Plus, where I can track heart rate and cadence during the ride, according to the instructor’s cues. You can get 30 days free, with or without a bike. They have flexible content and sensor solutions – so any bike can be a connected bike.

If you’re on the fence as to consider buying a piece of gym equipment like a Spinning bike, I’d highly encourage it. My at-home bike makes it so easy to work out without having to worry about a gym membership. Plus, it feels so good to know that I can make a choice each day to take better care of my body and my health. Spinning® brand is also such a great choice because they offer high-quality, affordable bikes. They have a rich history and tradition of providing the best bikes and service for their customers. If you have any other questions about my experience with my new bike, please drop me an email. You can also leave a comment on this post. I’d love to share more about my experience and the best Spin bikes for home.
