One of my favorite parts about spring is getting to wear light weight jackets. One of my favorites is this airy green trench coat. Phoenix weather doesn’t usually allow me to wear many coats, but I’ve been traveling a lot for work, so I’m glad I get to bring along some of my favorite jackets to layer when the weather is a bit iffy.

I especially like green trench coats over beige ones because I personally find the color more flattering on my skintone. Beige just looks so blah against my pale (with olive undertones) skin. Green trench coats in moss, military or army green are universally flattering and the green colors still act as a neutral so they can be worn with multiple types of looks.

green-trench-coat-01Wearing a belted green trench coat with a striped dress created a nautical look, and helped give my simple cotton dress some shape and definition. Layering necklaces played nicely with the hardware on the jacket and the brass accents on my high heels.

If you’re in the market for a new spring jacket, check out these versatile green trench coats I love.
