I love wearing sweatshirts. I’d wear one every day if I had the choice. But finding cute sweatshirts for women can sometimes be a challenge. The thing about sweatshirts is that you have to find ones that are cut specially for women. Fit is really everything when it comes to wearing sweatshirts. If they are too bulky, they will look sloppy.

When I look for sweatshirts, I try to find ones that are more figured conscious and made of lighter-weight materials. I have one floral sweatshirt that actually is cut more like a blouse. It has puffy sleeves, but the body is much more tailored.

I often prefer cropped sweatshirts too, and then I pair them with high-waisted jeans or dressy joggers. That styling shows off my smaller waist and ensures the bulky sweatshirt material doesn’t overwhelm my hourglass frame.

A couple of years ago, I found the cutest sweatshirt at Ann Taylor. I still wear it all the time (here and here). It’s super comfy, has a lot of fun details near the neck, and is a closer fit, so it doesn’t feel too bulky. It is literally the perfect sweatshirt. I wear it at least once a week and it’s kept up so well! But I need more options in my life! So I’ve been on the hunt for cute sweatshirts for women all fall long.

I recently got this one from Shein. It’s not quite perfect because it’s a bit bulkier than I normally wear. BUT there are a few things I absolutely love about it. I’m obsessed with the sleeves. The sequin and teddy bear patches are so fun and unique. I also love that it has a v-neck so it’s more flattering than crew necks.
