This baked ricotta cheese dip checks all of my boxes. I know what you're thinking, ricotta? What about cream cheese or cheddar or something you're used to eating. Well, I know it might sound strange, but this baked ricotta cheese dip is totally delicious, super easy to make, and is even a healthy alternative to your standard spinach and artichoke dip. This recipe is perfect for game day because it takes less than 20 minutes to make. You won't have to miss a minute of the game, and you'll have a hot appetizer that's a total crowd-pleaser. Plus, it goes so well with things you should always have on-hand for game day, like crackers and Coca-Cola. I served mine with TRISCUIT crackers and Wheat Thins from my local Kroger store for a great crunch. You could also serve this hot ricotta cheese dip with fresh veggies like carrots and celery. Baked Ricotta Cheese Dip with Fresh Herbs Ingredients 32-ounce container of ricotta cheese 1/4 cup chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley 2 teaspoons fresh thyme leaves 2 tablespoons chopped fresh oregano leaves 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese kosher salt and black pepper, to taste TRISCUIT crackers and Wheat Thins Directions Turn on the broiler. In a bowl, mix together the ricotta, parsley, thyme, oregano, red pepper, ½ cup of the Parmesan, salt, and black pepper. Transfer to a shallow, broiler-proof baking dish and broil until the top begins to brown, 5 -10 minutes. Serve warm with TRISCUIT crackers and Wheat Thins.
