This is Why I’m Wearing Star Earrings Right Now
I received my star earrings from Ettika in exchange for a review. All opinions are my own.
I can’t believe it’s already the 4th of July next week. I love the 4th of July. It’s one of my favorite holidays. But I’m not really a stars and stripes-wearing kinda gal. Don’t get me wrong. I’m totally a fan of celebrating our great country and our freedom, but I’m not really into wearing the American flag. However, I still want to get in the holiday spirit, so I found the most subtle way to do it. My current favorite way to get in the patriotic spirit is to wear star earrings.
Star earrings are totally on trend right now, plus, they give the faintest nod to the holiday without being over the top. I’m leaving the loud stars and stripes prints for my little ones. For some reason, it looks much cuter when my daughter wears a stars and stripes dress than if I were to try to wear it. Probably because little kids can pull off just about anything and look adorable.
Since I just don’t think I look very cute in overly patriotic clothing, star earrings are the perfect touch. I got these earrings from Ettika in exchange for my review. At first, I wasn’t sure if I’d like them. I’m not really into overly large, blingy earrings. I do wish these star earrings were a bit smaller. However, I still really like them.
The cut outs and the fact that they are half-stars makes them so interesting and different. I was actually hoping they would almost work like hoops, where the bottom of the earring would tuck around the back of my ears. Even though they don’t, I do love the shape. They really stand out, but they are still super light weight which makes them totally wearable for day or night.
When I started searching for star earrings, I was shocked how many cute options there are. Also, they are totally affordable (mine are well under $50!) If you’re interested in trying out star earrings for the 4th of July or any other time this year, here are some of my very favorites.
