What are you wearing for Valentine’s day? I recently found this gorgeous red dress for under $40 and I think it is a perfect red Valentine’s Day dress. (I’ve linked to a similar style below. I found mine just a couple weeks ago at H&M, but I can’t find it online!) I’ve talked about special occasion dresses in the past. Generally, I’m not a fan of buying things that you’d only wear once. It’s just not practical. But every now and then, I’m down.
The holidays and events when I feel it is somewhat acceptable to buy a one-time wear dress is New Years Eve, your birthday, and for summer weddings (assuming you can still wear it more than once). Valentine’s Day is another holiday when I do like to get a new dress. I try my best to find one that can be worn more than once. I felt lucky to happen upon the dress I’m wearing.
I found this dress by total accident. While I was searching for some basic Ts, I spotted the vibrant red dress across the store. It stood out because of the color, and I also noticed it was a perfect midi length. The part I love best about this dress is the fact that it’s pull-over style. There are no zippers and it’s even stretchy. It’s ultra comfortable but still fits my curves very nicely. I can’t get over my luck for scoring such a great dress at such a great price. The day we shot this look, I felt really confident and I’m super excited to have found the perfect red Valentine’s Day dress for under $50.
If you’re on the look out for a red Valentine’s day dress, I’ve pulled some of my favorites. After creating this collage, I quickly realized I pulled a lot of red lace dresses. Apparently, I have a bit of an obsession with lace. Oops!
How are you celebrating Valentine’s Day this year?
