I think I’ve finally turned a corner with my kids. For the longest time I couldn’t get my 4 year old son to eat anything. Finally, he’s at an age where he’s more willing to try things. I’ve even found creative ways to sneak more fruits into his diet by making this Greek yogurt smoothie.

I can get all of the products I need to make easy recipes and quick weeknight meals or after school snacks.For example, I love using V8 Splash® to make smoothies for my kids. It saves me so much time and adds food I feel good about to their after school snack. This Greek yogurt fruit smoothie recipe is my go-to for a quick after-school snack. I love smoothies. Using V8 Splash® is great too because it’s made with real fruits and vegetables and contains good sources of Vitamin A & C. Plus, my kids love the taste and it’s a choice I feel good about.
To make this smoothie, all you need is V8 Splash®, fruit, and Greek yogurt. Add all of the ingredients into the blender and puree until smooth. To add some fun to the Greek yogurt fruit smoothie recipe, I like to decorate with fresh fruit and shredded coconut. I usually serve the smoothies with a cute straw in a plastic cup. This is just one simple example of a smoothie, but you can definitely try other flavor combinations.

Greek Yogurt Fruit Smoothie Recipe
1 cup of frozen mixed tropical fruit
1 cup of vanilla Greek yogurt
1 small banana
1/4 cup V8 Splash®
Fresh fruit – I suggest strawberries, cantaloupe or honeydew, and shredded coconut
Add all ingredients (except for optional toppings) to the blender and puree until smooth. Pour the smoothie into a plastic cup and serve immediately, garnished with fresh fruit and shredded coconut.
