BBQ Chicken Pizza Recipe

Ingredients:

1/2 Pizza dough (recipe here) or store bought
1/2 cup BBQ sauce (recipe below)
1 cup chicken, cubed
½ cup red onions, sliced thinly
1 cup grated mozzarella cheese
½ cup grated cheddar cheese
Green onions for garnish, optional

Directions:

Preheat oven to 450. Prepare your skillet with a generous amount of olive oil.

Spread dough in the pan so there is a 1 to 1 1/2-inch lip around the rim of the pan. Prick the center of the dough with a fork to help it from rising.

Add a thin layer of mozzarella to the pizza crust and then add the chicken and red onions. Drizzle bbq sauce over the chicken and cheese until most of the pie is covered with a thin layer. Top the sauce with the remaining mozzarella and then the cheddar.

Bake for 25 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the top of the pizza is also browning. Remove from the oven, and let rest for 5 minutes. Remove the pizza from the skillet, slice and enjoy!
