I’m in Paris for work this week and I’ve seen several Parisians wearing lace tops and other clothing with lace accents. I noticed these women because they look ultra chic. Plus, lace is one of my favorite textiles. I love clothing with a lace accent because they are so feminine and timeless, which tends to be the direction I take my style.

Lace accents seem to be a trend that is continuing this fall. In between work meetings, I popped into this little French store and tried on this adorable flowy ivory blouse with touches of lace peeking out from the bottom. The top wasn’t overly flattering on me, so I didn’t get it, but the idea of it was right on point.
