But, I try really hard to relegate those looks to when I’m actually going to the gym on the weekends. There’s nothing wrong with black leggings and sneakers, but there is a way to achieve chic weekend outfits that look more together without that much effort. For me, weekend casual nearly always includes high-waisted skinny jeans, a sweatshirt or hoodie in a cool print or with embroidery, and essential flats. If I’m going somewhere a little nicer, I might swap in a blazer or sweater on top. I usually wear solid jeans, either black or in a dark wash, so they look nicer without much effort. Every now and then, I’ll wear ripped jeans, but they definitely dress down the look. In terms of the top, I love finding unique hoodies and sweatshirts. That way, my outfit has visual interest without much effort.
