Homemade Blueberry Syrup Recipe Ingredients: 1 \u00bd cups fresh blueberries 1 cup sugar 1 cup water 2-3 pieces of lemon rind 2-3 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice Directions: In a medium saucepan, combine all ingredients over medium heat. Once sugar dissolves, bring to a boil for 1-2 minutes. Reduce heat to simmer for 20-30 minutes, until the mixture begins to thicken. Remove from heat. Using a strainer, remove the lemon rind and chunks of blueberry. If you prefer to keep the blueberry pieces, you can simply remove the lemon rind and mix everything together. Serve warm or room temperature with pancakes, waffles and ice cream.
