Broken Eyeshadow Is An Expensive Annoyance It is the worst when you buy an expensive eyeshadow, and you either drop it or it cracks while traveling. I recently had two of my eyeshadows end up broken and I wasn’t sure what to do. Given they were expensive, brand-name eyeshadows, I wanted to do what I could to salvage them. After some searching, I realized how quick and easy it is to fix broken eyeshadow with some common household products. In just a few minutes my eyeshadow was like new. I explain the materials and steps below. The Materials You Will Need \tRubbing Alcohol \tSpray Bottle or dropper \tQ-Tips \tCotton Pad or Tissue How the Broken Eyeshadow Gets Fixed 1. The Break Up Break up any large lumps of powder so the texture is fairly uniform using a Q-tip. 2. The Spray Down Spray or drop the rubbing alcohol until the top of the powder is well saturated and starts to puddle. 3. The Pat Down Gently pat and press down on the powder using a cotton pad or tissue. Press firmly until the powder starts to come together to form a solid. If the powder is still loose, add more rubbing alcohol and continue to press firmly. Smooth out the powder to create a flat surface. Continue to press and add rubbing alcohol as needed. 4. Let Dry Let dry completely before using and you are all done! Save your friends and family money and share this tutorial with them on Pinterest or Facebook.
