Who's ready for the 4th of July? How are you going to celebrate this year? And most importantly, what are you wearing? We will likely have a little outdoor BBQ or picnic at a local park with all of our favorite 4th of July traditions. It is not a matching set, although this top does come with a matching skirt. I actually broke up the set and decided to pair the fun red cropped top with a flowy white skirt. Especially for the Fourth of July, I love to show patriotic colors without being so overtly patriotic. I'm not really a fan of wearing a lot of stars and stripes unless it's on a younger child. I personally think stars and stripes pieces look antiquated on adults. I chose to style this look with high heels and a summery brown bucket bag. However, I would not wear these shoes if I was going to an outdoor event or BBQ. Instead, I would opt for wedges or even cute flat sandals. I also added on some chunky gold earrings for a little bit of color. These earrings have some brown beads on them so it's a fun little detail that adds more visual interest.
