Have you noticed a major trend right now is two piece outfits with matching tops and skirts? I wasn't sure how I felt about this trend, in general, but there is something really easy about matching pieces. When I received this outfit, I honestly didn't love it at first. I thought it was a bit odd. But then I wore it for a while. I realized it is unique and definitely has a specific look and feel. I thought a lot about where I might wear this look. A few things came to mind. It felt pretty formal, so it would definitely work for an event like a fundraising gala. I could also envision wearing this look to a fancy dinner, for a special occasion, like an anniversary or Valentine's Day dinner. Unlike most items in my closet, this two piece outfit with matching skirt and top is not something that I'll wear very often. This is an outfit that will sit in my closet for years not being worn. However, since the price of this two piece outfit is so low, I'm happy to have this dressy look in my closet reserves for when I do need a fancier option. I probably wouldn't break this one out for Valentine's Day, because I hardly have anywhere fancy enough to go.
