Do you dress up for any holidays? I love to get new dresses for holidays because it's just another fun way to express myself and immerse myself in that holiday. For all the patriotic holidays - including memorial day, labor day, and the 4th of July, I love to wear red and white. I won't wear a full-on American flag, but I already love red, so it's a fun way to nod to our colors without being over the top. Red gingham is especially perfect for the summer holidays because it just feels like a picnic. {Stacey's Look: Dress; Heels; Lip color; Bag} To style the look, I opted for white sandals to play off the white in the dress. I really don't wear white shoes except for in the summer. I also think a cute wedge would work well with this Shein red gingham dress. If you prefer flats, I'd suggest the braided sandals that are so in style this season, especially a pair with a square toe. I think a braided mule would also look great. I'm really into the braided trend for this summer. As for the bag, you can keep it really simple. I chose to use their raffia one because it goes with everything and I love the gold accents on it. I've already been carrying it a lot this spring, and I think it's definitely going to be my go-to summer bag. I got mine from eBay, but it's the Poolside brand and you can find a similar one here. Since the bag has some gold accents, I thought I'd also add some gold in my earrings and I always wear lots of gold rings. I also decided to add a bold red lip to make the whole look even more festive.
