One fashion trend that I'm loving right now is wood watches and accessories. Just last week, I noticed two of my co-workers were rocking wood accessories. One guy was wearing these cool wooden sunglasses and another girl had a wood and metal cell phone case. I work in an office where living sustainably is on most people's minds. I assume my co-workers were drawn to the wood accessories because wood is a natural and renewable resource. Wearing wood watches and wooden accessories is a way to express your personal values through your fashion choices. I personally also just think it looks really modern and interesting. You don't expect to see wood watches or wooden sunglasses. Once I started looking for other wood pieces, I realized you can get wood in a lot of different accessories. I was shocked to see high-end designers are getting in on the wood details too!My first introduction to wood accessories came in the form of this gorgeous JORD automatic watch (c/o). I'm so in love with the coral colored face and the interesting zebra wood. I also adore the little Swarovski crystal details within the watch face.
