I really love heels, but they don't work into my lifestyle very often anymore--chasing around two years olds, and all. Since I don't get to wear my heels very often, I want to make sure the flats I wear are both super stylish and ultra comfortable. I'm also traveling a lot for work, so besides the perfect cross-body bag, I'm always on the hunt for great flats.

I like bringing a couple pairs of flats with me when I'm traveling for a couple reasons. First, they are super easy to pack. They don't take up too much room in my bag. Second, if you find a great pair of flats, they can be worn just as well with jeans or shorts, or a great dress or skirt. Finally, flats are comfortable, so they are great for walking around while touring a city. Please, ladies, you don't want to be the tourist wearing your sneakers when you could be wearing stylish d'Orsay flats (with the exception being ultra cool sneakers like these).

With my upcoming summer travels in mind, I pulled some great women's d'Orsay flats under $50.

01. H & M
02. Dooballa
03. Wanted
04. Express
05. Nine West
06. Call It Spring
07. ASOS
08. Charles Albert
09. J. Crew Factory
10. Chinese Laundry
11. Lulu*s
12. J.P.
