One of my favorite styles of dresses are midi dresses. I personally find the length very flattering and sexy. I often talk about how less can be more. There is no need to show your entire body off to be sexy. You can be sexy by dressing more subtly. That's why I love this polka dot midi dress so much. I think it's super sexy, but also very covered. There is something about the flouncy top and the off-shoulder detail that exudes sexy. Yet, this dress is totally affordable, but looks expensive. {Stacey's Look: dress; shoes (similar); clutch (similar); shades (similar); earrings; lipcolor} I actually chose this dress in two colors, I liked it so much. Honestly, I still can't decide which one I like better. They are both super cute and I think the blush and the white do work well enough with my skin tone. It's hard to tell from the photos, but the blush dress is a size M and the white is a L. I actually prefer the slightly closer fit of the white dress. When I ordered them, the blush was only available in L. Either way, this dress is forgiving in the sizing because the waist and the off-shoulder detail are elasticized. It makes the dress super comfy and also means you could size up or size down depending on how you like to wear your clothes. To style this polka dot midi dress, I decided to embrace all the gold details in the dress. Normally, I'm not really much for gold in my clothes. I do love to wear gold jewelry and also add gold accents in my bags and footwear. But for clothes, I usually don't really rock gold. This dress felt different. I imagined myself wearing this to a nice dinner on a tropical vacation. Unfortunately, I can't travel to tropical locals right now due to the pandemic, but I'll definitely keep these in my closet for when I can. I chose a rose gold and gold clutch, gold sequin heels, gold hoops, and also rose gold and beige sunnies. Overall, I think this look is super fun for the end of summer and I know I'll wear this dress a ton next spring and summer too.
