I love holiday parties because they gave me an excuse to wear a glittery, shimmery, ultra feminine dress. I hardly ever suggest buying clothes that aren't versatile, but holiday party dresses do not apply. This is the one time of year where I think it's totally OK to buy a dress you might only wear once or twice because it's the holidays. It's the time of year when you can absolutely go overboard with the sequins and the sparkle, and we all deserve to feel and look extra special at our fancy holiday parties. Even though I support splurging on a fancy dress this time of year, I know many people have tight budgets because of buying presents and traveling for the holidays.
