Probably the best fashion outcome of the pandemic has been the reemergence of matching sweat suits and all of the other leisurewear that is so popular right now. To be honest, I haven’t worn jeans in a year. Yes, skinny jeans are out and wide leg and mom jeans are majorly in. However, I still would rather wear sweats or these super comfortable Brooklyn joggers I’ve been living in.

The last time I remember a matching sweat suit as a stylish choice, I was in elementary school. I honestly haven’t worn a matching set since I was very little. But, the other day I saw that Target had several different colors of matching sets, so I decided to give one a try. I opted for black to start with because it is so much easier to elevate black than other colors. They also have a really fun purple color, light blue, and grey. I can’t lie, I actually got the grey set after I saw how cute the black set was.

I’m really in love with this matching sweat suit for several reasons. First, it is ultra-comfortable. It is literally the most comfortable thing I own. Second, it is easy to elevate an all-black look like this. I added a bunch of gold jewelry, some classic white sneakers. a statement red quilted bag, and some big black sunnies. 

I know it might sound funny, but you can elevate this look even more by adding a long car coat and some classic pumps. Yes, really, you can wear heels with sweats! Also, this look is so versatile, because you can wear the sweatshirt with some of your favorite mom jeans or you can pair the sweats with your favorite cropped t.
