This Christmas tree brownies recipe couldn’t be easier. Although I generally prefer homemade baked goods, sometimes the packaged treats work just as well. To make these, first you need a 9×13 pan and a box of brownie mix. I found a family-sized box but you could also just buy two regular sized boxes and mix them together. Once you make the brownies according to package directions, let them cool completely.
Christmas Tree Brownies
You need:
Family Sized Box of Brownie Mix
Jar of Green Frosting
Jar of White Frosting
Yellow Food Coloring
Knife to Spread Frosting
Star Tip and Piping Bag
Sprinkles
Mini Chocolate Candies
Tree Shaped Cookie Cutter
Directions:
Bake brownies according to package directions in a 9×13 pan. Let cool completely. Meanwhile, prepare your yellow frosting by adding food coloring to the white frosting and placing it in the piping bag with the star tip attachment.
Using the tree-shaped cookie cutter, cut out tree shapes. I was able to get 13 trees from the pan of brownies. Set aside (and eat the scraps!).
Frost each tree with a thin coat of green frosting. Sprinkle with sprinkles and add mini chocolates as ornaments. Add a yellow star to the top of your tree. Set aside to dry. Continue the process until all of your trees are complete.
Enjoy!
