10 Kid Friendly Healthy Afterschool Snacks
My kids aren’t in school yet, but my toddler son already loves snacks. He especially loves those animal-shaped crackery snacks. Even the the whole grain organic versions I buy are still more processed than I’d like and his snack selection is seriously lacking at this point. He will eat most fruits, an occasional string cheese, dry cereal, and yogurt. Most of the time, the crackers win the snack selection battle.
I wanted to find healthier options, so I searched for less-processed homemade recipes. I rounded up 10 kid friendly healthy afterschool snacks that I would definitely serve my kids. All of these snacks seem simple to make, nutritious, and foods most kids would enjoy. I can’t wait to try making these snacks to see if I can get my picky son to enjoy these rather than those snack crackers.
