Pleated Dresses for Women: 3 Trendy Ways to Style Them for Fall

I recently got this bright blue pleated dress for an upcoming trip. I thought it would be so photogenic against the old city. But I also realized this is the perfect addition to my wardrobe because this dress is quite versatile. This dress will look great styled in at least a few ways. If you’ve thought about looking for pleated dresses for women, read on to see why I chose this one and how I would style it in three ways.

First, I think this would be a perfect dress for work paired with a long blazer, like this. Paired with black pumps and a structured handbag makes for such a classy work look. This specific pleated dress is quite bright, so if you don’t want to make such a statement at work, you could choose a more toned-down color for your dress.

I also think this dress would be perfect for a fall (or spring) wedding. The color is fun and vibrant. I think a lot of times people choose black for weddings, but that’s so drab. Weddings are a celebration, so wear something bright and festive. You could wear a similar heel to what I’m wearing for a great party or wedding look.

This pleated dress would also be great for a dinner date or cocktail party. Although it’s not a color you expect, it is definitely eye-catching and will definitely get compliments when you’re out and about. I actually saw a girl wearing a very similar pleated midi dress out for dinner one night, and she definitely stood out and caught my attention.

If you’re looking for pleated dresses for women, I’m sharing some of my favorites below. All of the ones I picked I think will be very versatile for fall and can be worn many different ways. Most of these are under $100. So, they are totally affordable new pieces for your fall wardrobe. If you’re looking for other fall fashion posts, click here.
