This geo print dress I ordered last month. I planned to take it with me on a trip to Cancun that I had to cancel. Although I think this dress is absolutely perfect for a tropical vacation, it’s also a great dress for summer no matter where you live. I wore it on a Saturday morning to brunch, and it felt like a great brunch option.
The reasons I love this geo print maxi for summer are because it’s lightweight, flowy, and fun. The print stands out yet isn’t overwhelming. The dress is quite comfortable. I decided I needed to add a belt to the dress to give it a bit of shape. Although the dress did come with its own tie waist that matched the print of the dress, I decided it would look better with a contrasting belt.
I found this great woven raffia belt that has such a classic summer vibe. It contrasts perfectly with the blue geo print dress and also breaks up the bold pattern. The belt also helps accentuate an hourglass shape to define the waist on this belted dress. I also love that this geo print white cami dress has ruffles at the bottom that make it really flowy and it feels breezy for summer.
To style this belted maxi dress, I chose to pair it with my favorite summer bag that matches perfectly with the belt. I also loaded on the gold jewelry because I think it looks so great with this geo print dress. For my shoes, I chose my go-to summer sandales. I just love these gold gladiators because they are super comfy yet really chic for a pair of flats. I love that there are gold details in the bag and shoes but yet they aren’t too matchy. Gold is much more flattering on my skin tone, which is why you’ll almost always see me in gold instead of silver.
