Asymmetric Jeans: 9 Ways To Try This Fantastic New Trend

I’ve hardly worn jeans since before the pandemic. In the last couple of months, I’ve been searching all over for jeans I love. I did find some 90s style jeans I loved, but I also do prefer a more tapered leg. But tapered is not just as in right now, so I’m trying to venture into wider leg jeans. I recently found these black asymmetric jeans and I love them!

They are technically a ‘dad fit’ so they are a bit baggy in the hips, but and legs, but I do love how the asymmetrical front creates a v shape. I think they are super flattering on the waistline and really slimming too. These aren’t jeans I would wear every day though. The asymmetric jeans front makes them super obvious. They are definitely trendy and something I would break out every now and then. However, I really do love the fit so much, that they are one of my favorite pairs of jeans to wear right now.

To style the asymmetric jeans, you definitely will want to wear a cropped sweater or shirt. Cropped tops are really popular right now. There are so many different variations. I personally love wearing these jeans with a cropped sweatshirt, sweater, or hoodie. The asymmetric sweater I’m wearing in these photos has a front twist detail that’s a fun way to really accentuate the v-front jeans. I also recently got a sweater with ruching down the front, which is another fun detail that plays up the uniqueness of the asymmetric jeans.

If you’re interested in trying out v-front jeans for yourself, here are some of my favorites. I’ve tried to select a range of denim from high-end to more affordable so you have options that work for your lifestyle and budget.
