Biker Style Knit Jacket: Here is the One Reason Why They Stand Out

Saint and Sophia gifted me this knit jacket.

This past weekend, I was pleasantly surprised to find a very festive street decorated for Diá de los Muertos. It was the perfect backdrop to share my new favorite cotton biker jacket. Biker jackets are one of my favorite things to wear in the fall and winter. I recently got this knit moto jacket and I am seriously so excited about it. I love how flexible and comfortable it is. It’s made out of cotton, so it’s so easy to wear and looks really great with jeans or even work slacks. I’ve also styled it with a body con midi skirt, which looks super chic.

Cotton & Knit Biker Jackets

This knit jacket is made out of cotton so it feels just as cozy as a sweatshirt. I especially love the style of this one because of the fun stripes on the shoulders and the sleeves. The shoulder detail also adds structure to the jacket. Sometimes, cotton jackets can be shapeless, but I love how this one has built-in structure.

Actually, I have owned. a few similar cotton jackets in the past. Recently, I donated a cotton biker jacket because the fit was a bit too boxy. I like the fit of this one even more because it is cut closer to the body, yet hits a bit lower at the hips. I think the length of this jacket is perfect with pants. The slightly shorter length of my blouse is perfect with the longer cut of the jacket. The way I styled this makes my leg-line look very long, yet the jacket’s close cut to my body is quite slimming.

Another trick with this outfit is having a lighter color underneath a darker color. Styling your jackets this way is very slimming. The opposite (wearing black underneath and a lighter jacket on top) would give the visual allusion too.
