I have a lot of Shein black dresses I love. But, when I saw this sheer top black dress I knew I needed to add that to my wardrobe. It has such a cute 50s style with the little shirt collar. It is a fit and flare shape, which is really flattering on most body types. I love that the top is sheer because it creates a lot more visual interest than a regular old black dress.

Another reason I love this sheer top black dress is that it is versatile for a dinner date, cocktail party, or could even be worn to work if I added a blazer or cardigan. Black is such a classic choice and the cut of this dress is timeless too. I’ve been wearing more black lately because I think it works so well with my lighter hair. When I as a full brunette, I hardly ever wore black, but I think it really works with this hair color. You can’t go wrong adding a red lip and styling your hair up to dress up the look. I chose a fun pair of strappy heels and a bag with texture to add a subtle pop..
