Sometimes I stumble on a trend that I didn’t even realize was a trend. That’s what happened last week when I got this new red animal print dress. I chose it because I liked the simple t-shirt style shape with the tie at the waist. But once I started searching for comparable red animal print dresses, I realized they are everywhere! There are high-end ones, like this Saint Laurent, and totally affordable ones, like mine.
I wouldn’t normally think of a red animal print dress as something to wear for spring. But, I actually think it’s perfect in the early spring months when it’s not yet that warm and you need to wear layers. A lot of places have reopened in LA too, so this is such a great going-out look. I’m definitely not ready to go out like before the pandemic, but I am open to a casual outdoor happy hour or dinner out (socially distanced of course). This look feels so perfect for that type of setting.
To style the red animal print dress, I paired it with a hand-painted leather jacket, some super cute heels, and my classic Chanel bag. To complete the look, I had to add a bold red lip. This is my current favorite red lip. I always wear my stacked rings. They have become such a big part of me.
