3 Reasons Why a Winter White Sweater Dress is a Must-Have

If you follow my fashion posts, you know I’m a major fan of sweater dresses. I post about them quite often, but I definitely still have room for another sweater dress in my closet. I recently got this winter white sweater dress for less than $30 and it’s one of my new favorites. If you still haven’t added sweater dresses to your wardrobe, here are 3 reasons why you should consider an ivory sweater dress.

1. Winter White Works on All Skintones

Unlike stark white, ivory and winter white actually work really well on all skin tones. I personally don’t look very good in white, but even slightly off-white and it’s way better. Winter white is warmer, so it is more flattering on most people. 

2. Sweater Dresses are So Comfortable

If you don’t already have sweater dresses in your wardrobe, I’m telling you that you need to try them! They are so comfortable yet look really effortless and chic. They are also great for traveling because they pack up nicely, don’t require ironing, and you can wear them casually or more dressed up, as I discuss below.

3. Sweater Dresses are Versatile

I love wearing my ivory sweater dress for a work look like I have pictured here. I also love to wear them more casually with flats or sneakers for a low-key weekend look. They are great for work or weekends because they are so comfortable. They don’t require ironing and look great with long trenches or with cropped casual jackets too.
