One of my favorite fall jackets is a denim jacket. This year, my new favorite is this cropped black denim jacket. I love denim jackets for fall because they are hefty enough to withstand the cooler evenings. In Los Angeles, the days can be really hot (we’ve had 80+ the last week), but nights can feel chilly, especially by the beach. However, I don’t love changing several times a day (except when I’m making TikTok videos ;)). So, that’s why I try to always bring a versatile jacket with me. This cropped black denim jacket definitely fits the bill. 

As for my outfit, I styled the cropped denim jacket with this fun skirt I found on clearance at Target. I added a cropped square-neck tank underneath. Next, I added black stiletto booties, a quilted clutch, and Cateye sunglasses to finish the look.

I’m really loving the black denim that feels stonewashed. I also love the distressing. My jacket has a significant amount of distressing – actual holes even. The bottom is also frayed. There are a lot of other cute cropped black denim jackets to choose from too. I’ve noticed ones that have embellishments, like studs and fringe. There are also ones that have patches, chains and paint splatters. The 80s vibes are definitely back in a major way this year. (I know you’ve jumped on the tie-dye trend, and neon is also back).
