Spring has officially come to LA. This week, our weather is in the 80s and I’m loving it! Although I’m still spending most of my time in loungewear, I did break out a few dresses over the last week. I decided I needed to add a few boho dresses to my wardrobe, and I’m so glad I found this one for less than $30.
To be honest, I’m not much of a boho girl. I’m usually into more frilly and feminine dresses. But, I love this one because it has a deep v-neck, which is always super elongating and flattering. It also has the super flattering a-line shape so that it nips me in at the waist and then floats away from my wide hips and full thighs.

I also think the length of this dress is perfect – right at or just above the knees is the most universally flattering length for tall, short, big, or petite women, in my opinion. I also love that this dress has fluttery sleeves. As much as possible, I avoid all cap-sleeves or sleeveless dresses, because I don’t love my arms. The flutter sleeve is perfect for people who are self-conscious about their arms.
As for styling, I think this dress would look great with casual sandals, wedges, or heels. I chose to pair the look with bright pink heels because I personally love how heels elongate the leg. I also feel more like myself in a little bit of an elevated look. However, if I wanted to wear this dress on a casual day with my kids, I think a pair of flat gladiator sandals would be great.
