Here Are 12 Swiss Dot Dresses Under $25 That I Love

Have you heard of swiss dot dresses? Until I started researching this post to accompany my new favorite black dress, I hadn’t heard the term either. But to my surprise, I found so many lovely dresses that all used the term swiss dot dresses.  It’s clearly a fashion term that is consistently used for clothing that have monochromatic dots on them.

I really love swiss dot dresses because they are so classy and timeless. The dress I’m wearing is a piece I could definitely keep in my closet for decades. It is super classic with black dots, sheer sleeves and a deep v. I also love that it has a fun and flirty ruffle skirt, but otherwise, it’s totally simple.

This black dress is great for a fun date night look, as I styled it here. But this dress would also look great if I threw an oversized black blazer over it and swapped out the boots for classic pumps.

I chose to pair it with the tall boots for a couple of reasons. I don’t usually wear above the knee dresses. I’m not super comfortable showing too much thigh. I almost always opt for midi-length dresses because I think they are a lot more flattering on me. By adding the tall boots, I’m covering a lot of my leg while still showing a touch of skin for a sexy vibe.

I’ve talked about it a lot lately, but I love that adding more clothes, like these tall boots, can actually be sexier than if I showed a lot more leg. Also, these boots are great for the cooler temps. When it warms up, I could definitely swap out the boots and wear this dress with strappy heels for an equally sexy look.

If you’re looking for a classic dress that can work in lots of areas of your life, you should definitely check out my favorite swiss dot dresses. All of them are under $25 and I have a feeling you’ll wear them for years to come.
