Transitioning from spring to summer fashion can be tricky, depending on where you live. Most days, it’s not quite warm enough for me to wear actual summer clothes. I live fairly close to the beach, so it’s chilly in the morning and also at night. That’s why I’m loving this midi shirt dress because it’s the perfect transition piece.

It’s light enough for warmer days, but still provides enough coverage for cooler days. I also love that the sleeves roll up and down, so I can adjust them depending on the weather. 

This midi shirt dress also looks great with a jacket thrown on top. It looks cute if I wear a moto jacket or a denim jacket on top.

If you’ve never tried a shirt dress before, I think you should give them a try. They are super flattering on most people because they are flowy enough, but have the belt to create a nice hourglass shape.

I also think the length of this dress is perfect. It’s not too short, but also not too long. I personally think maxi dresses can add too much bulk, at least to curvier figures. This midi shirt dress is long enough so I’m not showing too much leg, but also short enough that it’s friendly for summer temperatures.
