How to Achieve Chic Weekend Outfits While Still Being Comfortable

This post is sponsored by Zappos. All opinions are my own.

I know what you’re thinking. Weekends are all about the yoga pants and sneakers. Don’t get me wrong – I’ll wear that on the weekends too. But, I try really hard to relegate those looks to when I’m actually going to the gym on the weekends. There’s nothing wrong with black leggings and sneakers, but there is a way to achieve chic weekend outfits that look more together without that much effort.

For me, weekend casual nearly always includes high-waisted skinny jeans, a sweatshirt or hoodie in a cool print or with embroidery, and essential flats. If I’m going somewhere a little nicer, I might swap in a blazer or sweater on top. I usually wear solid jeans, either black or in a dark wash, so they look nicer without much effort. Every now and then, I’ll wear ripped jeans, but they definitely dress down the look.

In terms of the top, I love finding unique hoodies and sweatshirts. That way, my outfit has visual interest without much effort. Plus, there’s no need for jewelry if my sweatshirt has studs or jewels on it.

When it comes to the flats I wear, I also look for some interesting visual elements. I’m currently loving these Estee woven Trotters in metallic silver. Metallics are always on trend. Plus, I like the shine they add, while still providing ultimate comfort. Also, Trotters are known for having the finest quality, fit and style. Their shoes are handcrafted using the best leathers from around the world. They are high quality and the leather is very soft. They also come in a variety of colors, sizes and widths to ensure the perfect fit for everyone.

I love to shop at Zappos because they make the online shopping experience so seamless. They offer free shipping and easy returns, plus, they offer such a wide variety of items. I love that I can get almost everything I need to dress myself and my family in one place. Their shoe selection is awesome, but they sell a whole lot more. If you haven’t shopped Zappos lately, or ever, you should definitely check them out!

I hope my little style tips help you to think differently about your weekend outfits. I definitely understand why a lot of people wear ultra-casual wear on the weekends. If you come to my house at 7pm every night, you’ll see me in those black leggings too. I’m just suggesting that you can elevate your weekend outfits without sacrificing style or comfort. Take my word for it – when you dress your best, you feel your best. I hope you’ll give it a try and tell me what you think!
