If you asked me what one of my favorite hobbies is, baking would be at the top of the list. I absolutely love to bake. I find it so therapeutic. I’ve also got a major sweet tooth. If it wasn’t ultra-unhealthy, I’d probably live on desserts (and maybe this pizza). When it comes to BBQs, I always make one of my favorite summer dessert recipes and I also feel compelled to try all the desserts and sides (you can keep your grilled meats, unless it’s these ribs).

With summer upon us, I thought I’d share some of my favorite summer dessert recipes I’ve made over the last few years. These are my top 8. Most of them area also super easy to make – especially the peach turnovers and the banana pudding, if you’re short on time. A must-try is the ice cream recipe. I show you how to make homemade vanilla ice cream (as a base you can add any flavors or toppings to) with ice cube trays. You should definitely check it out.
