Have you noticed mules are one of the hottest shoe trends for spring? Honestly, I wasn’t sure it was a trend I wanted to get behind, but then I found these gold mules and knew I had to give them a try. If you ever wondered how to wear mules, this post is for you.

The great thing about mules is that they are super versatile. You can literally wear them with almost anything. They also transition really well from workday to weekend wear. I personally prefer wearing a heal at night, but mules really can work well in a business casual environment or a mom on the go when you’re running errands on the weekend.

If you’re considering trying the mule trend this spring, just know that you can pretty much wear your mules with everything. When it comes to how to wear mules, there really aren’t many rules. I think they look great with jeans, shorts, cropped pants, skirts (long, midi or short). I also think they work great for daytime at work or on the weekends.

The only thing I’d suggest is keeping them in your closet when you’re heading for a night out. I personally don’t love them for night time, as I think that’s the time to break out the heels and strappy shoes. The rest of the time, mules really can be a wardrobe staple.
