How to Style My New Obsession: Choker Neck Dresses

Have you noticed choker neck dresses are a major trend this fall? Not just dresses, but choker neck tops and sweaters are very popular too. What do you think of this fall trend?

At first, I wasn’t sure about it. I don’t consider myself a trendsetter because I don’t adopt trends too early. I usually wait a couple months to get used to a trend before trying it for myself. With the choker neck trend, I needed to see it on several people before it grew on me. Now, I’m a fan.I finally tried the trend out for myself with this Bordeaux dress. It won me over for a couple reasons. I really liked the flutter sleeves and I think the two slits in the front are different. These little details, the sleeves, and the slits make the dress feel unique and unexpected.

I styled my look with simple black suede heels, a classic handbag, and some simple gold bangles for a little shine. If you’re going to try out one of these choker neck dresses, I highly suggest you wear your hair in a pony or top knot, like I did.
