There are three major sunglasses trends for fall that I’m absolutely loving. I’m already a huge fan of the cat-eye shape. I wear it all the time. There are some new trends I tried that I thought I’d hate, but actually loved! For example, I was sure I would hate a round shape on my face. I was pleasantly surprised that it looked OK on me! They still take me back to the 70s and I feel like John Lennon. But, somehow, this shape totally works!

I’m still a bit unsure about the colored lenses trend. When I put on the pink ones, my kids loved them on me. I’m not sure if I should take fashion advice from a 3-year-old, but maybe they work! Here are the top 3 sunglasses trends for fall.

1. Round

I was sure I would hate the round shape on me, but I was wrong. If you think you’ll hate it too, just trust me and give it a try. It definitely takes awhile to get used to the shape, but I was pleasantly surprised at how cool they looked.

2. Cat-Eye

The cat-eye shape is still my favorite. No matter the color or size of the frames, I always love this shape on me. I usually go for black or tortoise, but I think the white cat-eyes are fun for fall — they are an interesting transition from summer to fall.

3. Colored Lenses

Surprisingly, I thought I’d love the pink lenses. Pink is one of my favorite colors. However, the pink was a little shocking for me, so these actually took a lot of time to get used to. Either way, they are a fun addition to my wardrobe.

The reason I love sunglasses so much is that they can totally change your whole look for not that much money. I also love investing in designer shades because I wear them for several years, making the high cost totally worth it.
