To be honest, I’ve been pretty indifferent about facials in the past. I personally don’t love the feeling of someone rubbing my face. However, despite my initial hesitations, my experience at Red Door Spa far exceeded my expectations. It was the best facial of my life. Why was it so great?Well, the aesthetician was so sweet and attentive. Before she began the treatment, we talked through all of my skincare concerns and she customized the facial to work best for my skin type. She talked me through the entire process and explained each new product she applied to my face. She used the Elizabeth Arden PRO cosmeceutical-grade products which is the most active facial they offer, leading to faster results. During the treatment, she applied a variety of products to help with anti-aging, skin clarity, texture and to enhance elasticity.After the treatment, I could not believe how much better my skin looked! She warned me I might be red and flaky, but that wasn’t the case at all. Almost immediately, my skin was clearer, brighter, more even and glowing. My problem areas looked clearer and I was so impressed with how much smoother my skin texture felt. In the last week since the treatment, I’ve continued to notice my skin looks smoother and more youthful. I actually am quite surprised at what a difference this facial did for my skin.At the end of the experience, I’m definitely a believer in the benefits of a professional facial. Prior to this experience, I would never choose a facial over a massage or any other spa treatment, but now I would think twice. I really didn’t believe my skin could be transformed during an hour appointment, but I was wrong. The PRO Renewal Facial far exceeded my expectations.
