When HP offered us their brand new HP Deskjet 3636 All-In-One Printer, we were really excited to finally have a colored printer again, and also to think of creative ways to prepare our kids for back to (pre)school. My hubby created free printable letters with wild animal pictures on them. We thought it was a fun way for our kids to practice their letters while also learning about some animals they haven’t seen or heard of before. As a university educator, my work and life flow around the academic calendar year. My son is only a year or two away from school. I’ve been thinking a lot about whether to send him next year or wait until he’s a year older (should he be the youngest or oldest in the class?). I’ve started to think about his academics and his social skills to decide if he is ready.Luckily, I have several more months to decide. In the meantime, I’m always looking for ways to help him learn, but I want to keep it fun. He loves to ‘read’ to me (which means he creates his own version of the story since he can’t actually read words yet). He also loves to practice his letters and numbers. I’m often quite surprised at how advanced his knowledge of letters is at such a young age. My even younger daughter already knows several letters as well. They love to point out letters they know, especially the first letter of their name. Whenever my son sees an R he gets really excited and says, “R is for Rocco”. It’s adorable. Given their fascination with letters and also their love of animals (we go to the zoo a lot and I even threw my daughter a zoo birthday party), these free printable letters with wild animals are the perfect way to enhance their learning. The letters are also a great excuse to use our brand new colored printer and a great way to decorate their playroom. We haven’t owned a colored printer for a long time. I am super excited about the all new HP printer from Walmart. It is perfect for my family because it prints, copies, and scans.  Plus, it is completely affordable and comes in three cool colors. I chose the dragonfly blue. I also can’t get over how much smarter printers are than when we last got one. This HP can print right from your inbox with mobile printing from your smartphone, tablet, or PC. It is amazing to me that you can now get high-quality prints without even accessing a network. I also love how sleek the printer is and it is so easy to use with simple icons on the display panel that make printing, scanning, and copying super simple.I am really impressed with how well the HP Deskjet 3636 handled the printable letters. It was super easy to print wirelessly directly from our tablet, just by downloading the HP App. We printed them on cardstock so they would be a little more durable. The colors look rich and the quality of the print is great. The best part is that my kids love the letter prints. We used some wall tack to put them up in their playroom. The letters are vibrant and the animals really pop off the prints. Their playroom is so much more colorful with the printable letters hanging up. My kids love to point out the letters they know. Rocco read all of them to me after we hung them up. They are also having so much fun looking at the realistic animals and learning the new ones they hadn’t seen before.Free Printable Letters with Wild Animal Pictures
