As I think about what people wear in spring, I’m reminded of one of my favorite Devil Wears Prada scenes, “florals for spring? Groundbreaking.” This quote cracks me up because it’s how I feel about wearing pastels in spring.  Although I love pastels, it really IS expected and not at all groundbreaking. But what about wearing army green in spring? The thing about living in Phoenix is that I often wear bright colors year-round, so I don’t mind wearing darker colors in spring.Army Green in Spring is the Next Big ThingIf you feel like army green in spring is just too dark, then throw on a bright piece to balance the darker color. I chose to dress up my army green skirt with a peplum navy top and suede shoes. My look definitely has more of a fall feel, but it would be easy to change up my look by adding a really brightly colored shoe or blouse.Army Green in Spring is the Next Big ThingI personally love how the navy looks with the army green because it almost creates a monochromatic look that is ultra slimming and streamlined. I’ve seen tons of army green slacks, cropped pants, and skirts in stores near me, not to mention a lot of military-inspired jackets.
