I love December—full of holiday baking, parties and decorating. I also love the opportunity to buy a flirty and feminine holiday dress for Christmas parties or New Years Eve. At the same time, I try to find reasonably priced party dresses because I hate spending a ton on something I’ll probably only wear once or twice. Plus, most of us need to watch our budgets during the holidays with all the added expenses with buying gifts and traveling to spend time with family. Luckily, there are a lot of great holiday party dresses under $100, so you can still get a fun dress to celebrate the holidays without stretching your holiday budget too thin.

When searching for the perfect holiday dress, I have a few rules. First, find a festive color or a dress with sparkles. I personally look for dresses in shades of red, metallics, lace, or sequins. Next, you don’t have to give it all away to make a statement. Subtlety is sexy — check out dresses 1,2,3,4,6 — they are all are quite covered up, but still ultra-feminine and fun for a holiday party. If you like to show more skin – like 5,7,10, — that’s totally fine, but make sure to bring a cardigan or blazer to throw over the top, just in case the party is more conservative than you originally imagined. Finally, have fun! Holiday parties are the perfect occasion to add extra blingy accessories (like this hair bling), interesting tights, and funky heels.
