Practical or Posh: Black and White Striped Flats

One of my all-time favorite pieces of clothing is a black and white striped blouse from J. Crew. I’ve owned it for years, but it’s one of those pieces that never goes out of style. Even better, black and white goes with everything.

For spring, I’ve noticed several pairs of black and white striped flats. Just like my blouse, I think black and white striped flats would work with a lot of things in my wardrobe. Plus, they are fun–total attention-grabbers that would add major visual interest to any outfit.

When I saw these Prada flats, I fell in love with the stripes and cute bow accent. Prada shoes provide quality leather and construction, but at almost $600, they are a major investment piece. If you like black and white striped flats, but want a more affordable option, these Formentini flats closely resemble the pricier Prada version.
