Flare Jeans Under $50
Flare jeans are synonymous with the 70s. I always imagine a hippie chick with a flower wreath around her head and ultra wide, light washed, high waisted jeans. But flare jeans aren’t just retro, they are totally on-trend for spring.
I’ve tried the super wide leg flared jeans, and even though I’m tall, they aren’t that flattering on my curvier figure. But that doesn’t stop me. No matter your shape, you can wear flare jeans.
What works for me is choosing a fairly uniform wash, and always pairing flare jeans with high heels to elongate my leg line. A darker uniform wash also add length and is more slimming than whiskered or lighter colored flare jeans.
I love it when a trend I liked the first time comes back around. I pulled the pair of flare jeans I’m wearing out of the back of my closet. If you don’t already own a pair, or if you’re in the market to try out flare jeans this spring, here are some great options, all under $50.
What do you think of the flare jeans trend? Will you dust off a pair in the back of your closet like I did, or will you invest in a new pair this spring?
