Before this year, you never caught me in white denim. I always felt self conscious in white denim because I didn't think it worked that well for my body type. Having wide hips and cellulite on my thighs, I thought white jeans just accentuated my perceived flaws. What I realized recently is that I just hasn't found the best white jeans for my frame. After many attempts, I finally found my favorite white jeans. They work so well for me because they are high waisted, and skinny jeans. The buttons at the waist really cinch me in, and the material looks very smooth on my thighs. The material is also thick enough that it's not totally see-through. I've struggled finding jeans that aren't completely see-through. These jeans also have stretch in them, so they are really curve-hugging. I actually shot these jeans a few weeks ago with a peplum top, and it just didn't work. I found that these white jeans look best with a flowy top. The jeans are so form-fitting that I needed to balance out the tight bottom with something a little looser on top. Don't fall for that rule that you can only wear white jeans after Memorial Day. You can wear them year-round. All-white looks super chic during the winter months.
