The thing I look forward to most about fall is getting to break out my boots and light coats. Now that we are back in Phoenix, it may be a few more months before I get to wear my fall short boots. But that’s besides the point. School is back in session, so fall (and fall clothing) is on my mind. When a new season arrives, I tend to spend a lot of time window (browser) shopping. I like to see what’s new for fall and I like to see what kind of deals can be had before the holiday price slashing begins. I was kind of amazed at just how many great fall short boots under $100 are out there this fall. I especially love a short boot because they can work well with shorts, skirts, cropped or rolled jeans, or under pants. If you do opt to wear short boots with shorts, skirts or cropped pants, just make sure the proportions look right on your frame. Too chunky of a boot or too skinny of a pant, might look like you’re wearing moon boots, and that’s not a good look.
