One of my favorite fashion trends that had stuck around a few seasons is scallop hems. I just love the frilly detail and I think it looks so cute on dresses and tops. I especially love this purple scallop hem dress because the dropped waist and the shorter length keeps it very playful. I found this dress on mega clearance late last summer, but finally got around to wearing it now that we're in full summer mode. Luckily, scallop hem dresses are still very popular this year and it appears to be a trend that's sticking around for awhile. To style the look, I paired the dress with bright pink shoes because I like the vibrant hues playing against each other. I wore bold sunglasses and a bit of gold jewelry for some shine. I stuck with a neutral and classic handbag, as there was already a lot going on with the look. If you want to try out the scallop hem trend, make sure you choose pieces that compliment the piece without overwhelming it.
