Homemade Blueberry Syrup Recipe Ingredients: 1 ½ cups fresh blueberries 1 cup sugar 1 cup water 2-3 pieces of lemon rind 2-3 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice Directions: In a medium saucepan, combine all ingredients over medium heat. Once sugar dissolves, bring to a boil for 1-2 minutes. Reduce heat to simmer for 20-30 minutes, until the mixture begins to thicken. Remove from heat. Using a strainer, remove the lemon rind and chunks of blueberry. If you prefer to keep the blueberry pieces, you can simply remove the lemon rind and mix everything together.
